This cake exceeded expectations! First of all, I was impressed with the clean, mostly organic ingredients and the lack of refined sugar - that alone is so hard to find (if not impossible locally) in a bakery cake. The fact that it could be delivered to my door for my son’s birthday made me so happy!! I simply did not have the time or energy to bake this year.
The taste of the cake is rich, decadent and delicious. The texture was perfectly moist and soft, yet fluffy. Flavor surpasses any gluten based cake I have ever had. It didn’t fall apart and it lasted in the fridge nicely, but honestly was gobbled up within 3 days. We loved it and plan to buy another for my mother’s birthday. I am already planning which flavor to try next!
