Lattes. Something I am passionate about and definitely something you’ll see lots of at Sweet Laurel Cake Shop! We’re getting really excited to open this summer, and as you can imagine I am recipe testing up a storm all things cake AND all things coffee!
For the lattes here, I started with a coconut milk that I love. Lets Do Organic is my current favorite. For those of you without an espresso machine and milk frother, do not worry! You can use a blender and it actually works wonders. You can also serve these lattes over ice and it makes for a lovely iced latte in the summertime!
Coconut Lattes
Serves 1
Vegan Caramel Coffee
Ingredients:
1/2-1 cup coconut milk
4-8 oz brewed coffee
1 -2 teaspoons Sweet Laurel vegan caramel
Directions:
Place all contents in a blender and blender on high for 1 minute. Pour into a cup and enjoy.
Rose Latte
Ingredients:
1/2-1 cup coconut milk
4-8 oz brewed coffee
1 teaspoon dried rose petals or drop essential rose oil
1 -2 teaspoons maple syrup (optional)
2 tablespoons collagen (optional)
1 teaspoon Sweet Laurel vanilla extract
Directions:
Place all contents in a blender and blender on high for 1 minute. Pour into a cup and enjoy.
Collagen + Cinnamon
Ingredients:
1/2-1 cup coconut milk
4-8 oz brewed coffee
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 -2 teaspoons maple syrup (optional)
2 tablespoons collagen (optional)
1 teaspoon Sweet Laurel vanilla extract
Directions:
Place all contents in a blender and blender on high for 1 minute. Pour into a cup and enjoy.
Mocha
Ingredients:
1/2-1 cup coconut milk
4-8 oz brewed coffee
1 teaspoon cacao
1 -2 teaspoons maple syrup (optional)
2 tablespoons collagen (optional)
1 teaspoon Sweet Laurel vanilla extract
Directions:
Place all contents in a blender and blender on high for 1 minute. Pour into a cup and enjoy.
